FROM DBBC TO TEAM USA! 🇺🇸🏀🥍

Congratulations to Dana Barros Basketball Club’s Avery Flaherty on being selected to the 2026 U.S. Girls’ U15 Youth National Team!

Avery was chosen as one of only 24 players from across the country following the USA Lacrosse National Combine. The Class of 2031 midfielder represents Laxachusetts, Thayer Academy and DBBC—and continues to prove what is possible when talent, toughness and hard work come together.

Whether she is attacking the basket or competing with a lacrosse stick in her hands, Avery brings the same energy, athleticism and competitive drive.

We could not be prouder to have Avery representing DBBC—and now representing the USA! 🇺🇸

Congratulations to DBBC’s Avery Flaherty on being selected to the 2026 U.S. Girls’ U15 Youth National Team!

Avery was chosen as one of only 24 players nationwide after competing at the USA Lacrosse National Combine. The Class of 2031 midfielder represents Laxachusetts, Thayer Academy and Dana Barros Basketball Club.

🏀 ➡️ ⚾️ FROM THE HARDWOOD TO WILLIAMSPORT!

DBBC is incredibly proud our very own 7th-grader JUDE DESIMONE, who is representing New England
& Bridgewater, Mass, in the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series! 🌎🏆

Jude isn’t simply part of the team—he has been making a major impact:

🔥 .607 batting average
🔥 6 doubles
🔥 13 RBIs
🔥 .821 slugging percentage
🔥 Three hits and 1⅔ strong innings on the mound in New England’s regional-opening victory
🔥 An RBI double in the New England championship game

Whether he is competing on the basketball court or baseball diamond, Jude brings athleticism, toughness and a winning mentality. This is what being a multi-sport athlete is all about!
