We lost a young martial artist this weekend who Nolan and I had the pleasure to train with the past few years. He was also very close to our own student Will Brenneman and the rest of the Jeffrey James Brenneman family. He helped his teacher with children's classes and the kids loved him. I would like our dojo to help the family in a small way by giving what each of us are comfortable with to help with the family's expenses. If you feel moved to donate please place cash in an envelope labeled Ronin in the payment box this week and it will get to his family from our dojo. Please continue to pray for Ronin's family and all of our young students.

Last night Roma lead our growing group of female students through some fundamental partner drills. We are excited that ladies see the benefit of functional karate and proud to see one of our young students jumping in to teach. Shown below are a portion of the female students currently training, many are missing due to school events.

United Ryukyu Kempo Alliamce Summer camp dates hosted at Ryubei Kan in Oak Grove MO are confirmed for 2026
June 5th, 6th, and 7th.

Between you all recruiting and the more interactive curriculum, classes are again maxed out. We will not be accepting new students until May-June in the adult classes. There is room in the 4-7yo group. Class is so exciting having all of you involved, I appreciate the support!
