We are SO beyond proud of our Western Team today! We had 5 amazing rides at the Zone 1 Western Championship - Tom Keegan got First place in Open horsemanship and First place in Reining, Sarah Ulrichsen got First place in Level 2 horsemanship and Nicole McMeekin got First place in Rookie, getting these three riders a ticket to Semi Finals in West Virginia! The team came in 3rd overall for the season with Tom as the reserve high point rider. We could not be any more proud to be a Blue Devil!! @ Horsebarn Hill

With the new decade we figured it was time to show how our team has grown as riders throughout the past decade! First up is Nicole, when she was riding dressage in 2011, then last semester on Gideon at the UConn Hunt Seat show!

A little bit belated but man are we thankful for this team! Last weekend we hosted our first ever Western show where got High Point Rider in the morning and we took home Reserve High Point Team in the afternoon. Our Hunt Seat team has been taking home more blue ribbons than we have in a while and we truly are growing so close as a family. This year has been so good to us and we are super thankful for the amazing ponies we’ve gotten to ride so far this year and for each other. Proud to be a Blue Devil 💙🤍 Happy belated thanksgiving from our family to yours 🥰

Our hunt seat team KILLED it today taking home four blue ribbons and even had compete in the ride off for reserve champion. Such a happy way to end the semester, so beyond proud of these ladies 💙 see you all bright and early at our home western show tomorrow!

SO proud of this team today! (not pictured) and both got 1st place in their flat classes and qualified for regionals in Novice Flat after getting 2nd place today!!

Also HUGE shout out to for doing such a beautiful job honoring our Veterans today, and of course a HUGE thank you to all of our Veterans 💕🇺🇸
