Pinewood School of Dance

Pinewood School of Dance Dance education in many disciplines for all ages. Facilities custom designed and built for dance including two spacious studios with sprung oak floors.

At Pinewood School of Dance, we focus on the development and enrichment of each individual student. Dance instruction is a building process. We believe in laying a firm foundation of basics which can later be expanded and refined. Dance training offers rich rewards to its students including discipline, coordination, improving posture, love of dance, and gaining the self-confidence to perform on-st

🎓 We have watched them grow from tiny tots learning to point their toes to graceful, strong and poised dancers who make us proud on and off the stage.

🎓 As another season comes to a close, we’re sending our love to our Class of 2026 dancers heading off to college! 👏 A huge congratulations to two of our very own Pinewood 2026 seniors, Sophia and Peyton. Both talented dancers auditioned for the Sacred Heart pre-professional dance company and both were invited to join this dance company.

👏 Sacred Heart University (SHU) offers the SHU Dance Company, a highly selective, pre-professional track designed for advanced, highly skilled dancers. It provides intensive technical training, performance opportunities, and career-building experiences for students who wish to pursue commercial or concert dance while earning their degree.

👏 We are proud of all our seniors and all their accomplishments. Brava ladies! You make us so proud!

🏆 One of our very own Pinewood dancers, Leilani, was recently named the 2026 Junior Intermediate New York State pageant winner!

🏆 Because of this title, she has qualified for the National competition at Notre Dame. There, she will represent New York state in modeling, interview, strut, and solo events alongside competitors from around the globe.

🏆 Leilani’s family contributes a major part of this milestone to Ms. Gina and Pinewood’s presence in her life. They are extremely thankful for all Ms. Gina and the Pinewood community has done along with all their continued love and support.

✨ Another proud moment for Ms. Gina and the Pinewood family!

✨ Madi was selected as a D1 scholarship Feature twirler at Georgia Tech. She will be the next Golden Girl!

✨ Madi and her family extend thanks and credit to Ms. Gina and Pinewood for all their instruction and support. Without the last 12 years of dance Madison wouldn’t be where she is today with twirling. The technique and love of dance has taken so many of our dancers to fully living most successful dance lives beyond our studio doors.

✨ Huge congratulations to all our dancers present, future and past for always following and working towards their dreams. Brava!

☘️ Another one of our beautiful dancers showed off her skills at the 2026 All Ireland Dance Championships (Oireachyas Rince na Heireann). We are beyond proud of Maria!

☘️ This Irish dance competition was held in Killarney, Ireland. It featured dancers from all over the world. There were about 140 girls in Maria’s competition!

👏 Our Pinewood Dance Company kicked off their competition season on January 30-February 1 at Headliners.

👏 It was a beautiful display of dance, friendship, teamwork and awards!

👏 Our 13 dances earned 3 Golds, 9 High Golds and 1 Elite Gold for our full company lyrical number. Also received was a special judge’s award, “Proud and Poised.” Overall we took home 3 1st place finishes, 3 2nd places, a 3rd, 4th and 5th place.

👏 To say we are proud is an understatement! We can’t wait for our next competition!
