New restock!! We finally have minnows again! Lots of people have been in the marina fishing lately! I haven’t been out yet, but hopefully this weekend! I have heard some walleyes and perch were caught just the other day! We also have crawlers, waxies, red worms and of course minnows. Come get some bait and get out fishing!

If you happened to stop by the bait shop today and we were out of minnows, we are restocked now! The tank is full of fresh minnows and there are some waxies and wrigglers in the fridge! Walleyes are biting great today so get outside and fish!!

It's finally getting cold out and the ice is getting thicker. There are some fishermen already out on Storm Lake. I have been told that the walleyes are biting early morning and early night. We recently got fresh wigglers and waxies. We also ventured into red wigglers (also known as red spikes) for anyone interested. We also have minnows in the bait tank ready for some swimming in the lake. We are open 24 hours a day as this business is entirely self-service. We appreciate the wonderful business from all of the fishermen and fisherwomen! Stay safe out on the lake and these slippery roads! DNR fishing report:
Ice thickness varies from 0 to 10 inches. Snow cover makes the variability difficult to see. There is open water near the big island. Use caution and check ice often.

Fresh bait and restock on baked goods!! For bait we have minnows, leeches, red worms, nightcrawlers, and wax worms. For baked goods, we have chocolate chip cookies, zucchini bread, banana bread, scotcheroos, and cinnamon rolls.
