First off, I love my dad. He’s 76. Second, I am a personal trainer and he knows this. However, every time he asks me about work he says, “How are the aerobics classes going?” No matter how many times I correct him, he asks the same way. “AEROBICS. However, out of desperation, I showed him this picture of 210 pounds on my back. He said, “Wow, that looks heavy.” I tell him the weight and again, explain the functional strength training we do with our clients which, he admits he didn’t understand. Then he immediately tells me he might be able to lift 210 right now…possibly. 🫠
