It’s tough to watch your child struggle, especially when you know exactly what you’d say from the sidelines.
However, growth doesn’t happen when they’re rescued. It happens when they figure it out in the middle of the moment, under pressure, a little uncomfortable, and fully present.
On these mats, it’s okay to lose the round. It’s okay to be stuck, to feel unsure, to have to think and fight through it.
That’s where real confidence is gained, not from being told what to do, but from discovering they can handle it on their own.
