Stonewall, the name is going on the building.

Another big step is happening at Obsidian Martial Arts as our new sign goes up.

For us, this is more than putting a name on a building. It means we are getting closer to opening the doors and welcoming local kids, teens, adults, and families onto the mats.

We are excited to bring Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Stonewall and build a place where beginners can learn without feeling intimidated, experienced martial artists can keep growing, and families can become part of a strong martial arts community.

We appreciate everyone who has been following the progress and supporting us along the way.

Build progress update.

The new gym is starting to take shape.

Framing is up. Insulation is going in. Lights are installed. Rooms are being built out. Every week, this space looks a little less like a construction site and a little more like the future home of Obsidian Martial Arts.

This is where kids will build confidence.
This is where beginners will take their first step onto the mats.
This is where athletes will sharpen their skills.
This is where we build a strong, disciplined community from the ground up.

Still a lot of work ahead, but the progress is real.

Thank you to everyone following along, asking questions, and supporting the process. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome you in.

Big things are happening at Obsidian MMA. Construction is moving forward, and little by little, this vision is becoming real. We’re building more than just a gym — we’re building a place for hard work, growth, discipline, and community. Our goal is simple: to create a family-friendly martial arts gym with a clean culture, no ego, and real training. A place where kids and beginners can all feel welcome and get better every time they walk through the door. We’re getting closer every day, and we’re excited to keep sharing the process with y’all.
