Hockey Family,
This is Scott Brand, President and General Manager of the Stockton “To Be Named by the Fans Soon” hockey team. I appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue building our organization and bringing professional hockey back to Stockton.
I wanted to give everyone a quick update. I officially arrived in Stockton yesterday, have found a place to live, and even had time to catch a few innings of Stockton Ports baseball. I’m still adjusting to the time change and recovering from the 3.5-day drive, but I’m looking forward to being back at full strength by tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I’ll be touring potential office spaces as we begin building our front office staff. Next week, we’ll be meeting with arena management to discuss several important items, including finalizing a seating chart and other operational details.
I’m hopeful we will also be announcing our ticket sales representative sometime next week. Once we have the seating chart completed, we will be able to begin reserving ticket plans for our fans and supporters.
If everything stays on schedule, I expect many of you will begin receiving calls from our organization by the middle of next week.
Again, thank you for your support, patience, and excitement as we continue laying the foundation for hockey in Stockton. In the meantime, please make sure to go vote and help us pick the team's name!
For our former season ticket members, we want to make sure you have the opportunity to reclaim your previous seats. Please know we are absolutely aware of that request, and it is a priority for us as we work through the seating and ticketing process.
Finally, not to throw shade or start a rivalry already, but I’m hearing rumors that the Fresno Falcons organization doesn’t like kittens and puppies, uses their brakes before their turn signal, are felony-level jaywalkers, and bring 12 items through the 10-item checkout lane at the grocery store. Just saying.
