Today didn’t fully go as planned, but that’s okay! We now know for sure that Tristan has normal, age-related arthritis in both stifles that’s causing him some discomfort. But we’re on the right track to making sure he’s a very comfortable boy. ❤️

When you have an older horse, you learn to appreciate the things they can do instead of focusing on what they can’t.

We may not head out on trail rides anymore, but we still have this beautiful pasture to wander, plenty of room to ride, and a few friends who like to tag along.

This season of our journey looks different, but it’s still a good one. ❤️
