The Buckley Cove Boat Launch will close to remove decades of built-up sediment and make the water easier for boats to navigate.

Welcome to the 2026 8th Annual Runabouts on the River Classic Boat and Car Show!

The premier classic boat and car show
Stockton, CA – Get your engines revving and your boats polished because the 8th Annual "Runabouts on the River" is set to make waves once again! This highly anticipated event will take place June 26–28, 2026, hosted by the Stockton Sailing Club, bringing together classic boats, hot rods, live entertainment, and a whole weekend of riverfront fun.

Boaters will start arriving on Friday, June 26th, launching at Buckley Cove Ramp before cruising over to the Stockton Sailing Club (SSC) to get settled in on Friday and Saturday.

Event Details & Highlights Date & Time: Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Location: Stockton Sailing Club at 4980 Buckley Cove Way, Stockton, CA.

Admission: Completely free to the public, with free one-hour parking for boats at the guest dock.

Free Boat Rides: Visitors can take a spin on the San Joaquin River on select classic runabouts.

Live Entertainment & Food: Includes food and drink, vendors,
Tiki Lounge, Bloody Mary Bar

Live Music

The "Roar-Off": At 3:00 PM, the show concludes with a classic boat parade and synchronized departure down the channel.

Another fabulous Memorial Day Weekend at SJDPS Island. Big thanks to Commander Yvonne, Ray, Roland, Susan, Gary and Bonnie for the delicious meals! The island is beautiful this year, members cmon out and enjoy the Delta!
