Jon has been with the program his four years and is our only senior. We are sad to say goodbye to this guy for a few reasons. He entered this program on it's rise from our first conference championship to leading us to a second straight conference finals appearance. He had an opportunity to lead the strongest team in program history to a national championship and fell short as a sophomore, only to be more determined to battle his way to a quarterfinal finish this season at the NCVF tournament. His dedication, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, aspiration to win, and his desire to seek a national title brought this program to new heights. His leadership guided a small and unpredictable team to a final 8 finish when others may have counted us out. He witnessed the program unranked to becoming #3 (DII) in 2016, and continued to keep the team in the national rankings through 2019. His skill is unfaltering, and his attitude of leadership set an example and precedent for the future. We thank you Jon and wish you the best in your future endeavors you may seek. It has been the wildest of rides with you, and we can say you have earned your stripes. He recieved two conference honorable mentions in his four years.
Fun fact: he graduated and works for the Sacramento Rivercats.
