While attending the CBSOA Conference in South Lake Tahoe, our Boating Unit deputiesI got to work.

Deputies Canepa, Jacobson, and Alcoriza took on the elements and are now officially high altitude and cold water certified after training in Lake Tahoe.

From freezing temperatures to challenging conditions, our Dive Team continues to push themselves to be ready for anything, anywhere. Their commitment ensures we are prepared to respond when it matters most.

We are proud of this team and the work they put in to protect our waterways and our community.

Congratulations to our newest PADI Rescue Divers! Erin, Megan, Mark, Mike, and Frank all put in the work this weekend and came out as certified Rescue Divers! This course is known around the world as one of the most fulfilling, challenging, and important certifications a recreational diver can achieve. We are very proud of these divers for driving those boots into the sand, and coming out better than ever.

As our busy spring and summer schedule approaches we are looking to add to our swim instructor family. We’re looking for an individual who works well with children and adults of all ages and ability, kind, energetic, and works well in a team dynamic. Swim Team or Waterpolo experience is preferred.

Pay starts at $16.90/Hr

🚨 Vehicle in Water Response – Holt, CA 🚨

Today, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Stockton requested assistance from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office following a report of a vehicle submerged in the water near Lower Jones Rd / Whisky Slough Rd in Holt, California.

Our Dive Team, with support from our Boating Safety Unit, responded swiftly to the scene. Deputies conducted an underwater search and successfully located the vehicle. Tragically, one deceased occupant was found inside. Our thoughts are with the individual’s loved ones during this difficult time.

This incident remains under investigation by CHP.

We are proud to support our partner agencies and respond when our community needs us most. Thank you to all personnel involved for their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication during a challenging response.
