Our 1st Summer High School Institute for Dance & Cheer is officially in the books! 🎉

Some students arrived with no experience, while others came with a foundation, but every participant left with new skills, new friendships, new routines, and meaningful connections.

A huge thank you to our incredible Pacific student-athlete instructors, Marcela, Nikki, Ireland, and Jasmine, for your leadership, energy, and dedication. You created an encouraging environment where students could learn, grow, and build confidence while having fun.

We are so proud of everything this group accomplished! Let’s go tigers!!! 🧡🖤

FAQ

Is there a cost?
No! 😊

Do I have time in my schedule?
Yes. Being part of the team is very manageable, even with a full course load, and we have athletes from all majors. Time management is key!!

Do we travel?
Yes, but only once a year for the West Coast Conference (WCC) Tournament in Las Vegas.

When does the season start?
We attend cheer camp in Santa Barbara the week before school starts, and official practices begin during the second week of classes.

Who do we cheer for?
In the fall, we cheer for Women’s Volleyball. During the winter, we transition into the basketball season, cheering for both Men’s and Women’s Basketball. In the spring, we finish the year with basketball and select Men’s Volleyball games.

Do we get time off?
Yes! Athletes have Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break off. Practices and games take place only while school is in session.

Coming to us all the way from Hawaii, we’re excited to welcome Leila to the dance team! She is a trained dancer in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, hula, and Tahitian, and she also has experience as a choreographer. We’re thrilled to have her join us and can’t wait to get started!
