This weekend Soto Motorsports is sporting a little bit of a new look. Purple cheetah spots are featured in honor of Pete’s grandmother, Conchita who fought hard against Pancreatic Cancer. 4CHITA is in honor of her license plate💜 Pete’s grandmother was his biggest fan and it only made sense to honor her in his return to the race track. Special thanks to Pete’s wife for creating this special tribute that’s proving to pay off as he recorded one of his fastest qualifying times to date!

UPDATE:

Soto Motorsports fans as you have noticed we have taken a hiatus from racing these past couple months. A family member was given a diagnosis that has required our attention and for us to divert from original season plans.

Pete was eyeing to place even higher in overall season points this year for the LunkerDaddy Pro Late Model Series at Madera. His confidence had been growing in the car and we were excited to be competitive! We cannot control everything unfortunately in our lives and that is the reasoning for our absence. We were planning to make our season return tomorrow, however due to weather and our pit crew being on the much wiser side, we decided we will try and make our Madera return next month, permitting everything goes well!!

We want to thank our fans and the community around us for your patience and support while we work through these trying times.

Into the belly of the beast for Race #3!

Pete Soto and the Soto Motorsports team is back at it for Race Day at Madera Speedway! The team spent some long hours in the shop making adjustments and fine tuning the car and are ready for what should be a great day of racing, never tell us the odds!

Race #2 of the year was a fun one, despite the results. We’re getting closer to finding a set up that works best and excited to see where that will take us. Going 3 wide on 3 different occasions was the fun part though, we came home with a clean car and that’s what matters!

NEXT RACE April 29th for Race #3 of the MAVTV LunkerDaddy Pro Late Model Series at Madera Speedway.
