Hello Noypi! We are excited to announce that Season 9 of NBL will be our longest season yet, with a double round regular season schedule. The addition of new teams will result in more games, and thus, higher costs. To offset these expenses, we will be charging a league fee of $180, which will cover costs such as referee fees, gym rentals, and awards. As we draw closer to our target start date, I will be requesting payment from all participants. Please be advised that simply expressing interest in the comments is not sufficient; we require payment to secure your spot. The payment deadline is April 15, and we offer the option to pay in two installments, with the first payment due by the deadline and the second payment due at the start of the season. Let's finalize payments quickly so we can proceed with the draft and begin the season. Thank you.

How do the NBL do there draft? Is the league fee worth it? Is it expensive? Are they organized? Is the commish getting money out of it? Do NBL take favors to a team or players? These are some questions that we get every season.

The Draft:
We carefully ranked everybody according to their skills. Height factor sometimes is considered but not all the time. We got 8 commissioners and 2 referees to vote where all these players gonna be and then we raffle them on their team. No hand pick on draft but we even out the team after the process.

That’s why it’s really important to the new players to show up on our designated pick up games.

League Fee:
All the fees goes to the referee officials, trophies awards and gym rentals. We even provide a open run at player’s no expense.

Commissioners:

Eight dedicated commissioners prioritize the league's success, making collaborative decisions without personal gain. Each one of them has their own role on the league. Everyone got their own opinion, we argue we vote and we decide. At the end of the day we only want what’s best for the league not for our self interest. Giving favors or being bias to a team or players is strictly prohibited. There’s is no head commissioner or a leader, we run it as a team. All power is the same as everybody.

Are we getting paid?
We don’t make money here period! Sometimes we even spend out of our own pocket. We spend time and time in the gym every Saturday just to make sure the league runs smoothly. Players can repay us by showing up on time and every game. We want a competitive game.

Is the league fee worth it?
We don’t go cheap! Ask the referee officials. Lol
We dont discount our thing just to attract players. We are true to ourselves. Quality matters!

SEASON 5 UPDATE
⁃ Fee is (Entry $100 + jersey $30).
⁃ We will start accepting payments this coming FRIDAY DEC 1st. Electronic payment methods will be posted closer to the date.
⁃ In-person payment dates on Dec 2nd, 9th & 16th at Calvary Church gym 2343 Country Club from 10am-1. PICKUP GAMES on these dates too, for PAID players ONLY. We require players who are NEW to the league, to play at least one of these dates, to be evaluated. Returning players are welcome to play and scout your competition.
⁃ Tune-up games on JAN 6th, with your new teams. Season tips off on JAN 13th.
