Splatterback Playground

We are a functioning motocross practice facility Founded in 2019 by a motocross enthusiast inspired by childhood dreams and Travis Pastrana’s resilience, Splatterback Playground has grown from a small backyard track into a multi-track recreational space. Operated by a dedicated couple raising two young children, this project is self-funded through personal income and community support. Despite limited resources, we have built three functional tracks that attract riders of all ages and skill levels. Our dream is to turn Splatterback Playground into a full-scale motorsport recreation center a legacy of determination, community, and family. Splatterback Playground is more than a motocross track it is a dream built from passion, perseverance, and community. Founded by two hardworking parents who share a lifelong love for motocross, this project began with a single goal: to create a safe, exciting, and family-friendly space where riders and enthusiasts could connect, learn, and grow. Despite financial limitations and equipment failures, we continue to pour our time, effort, and hearts into maintaining and expanding the facility. We are seeking funding to replace our failing equipment (tractor, cultivator,and water wagon) to sustain daily operations, and to expand into much more than just motocross as well as ensure safety for all riders and spectators. This support will allow Splatterback Playground to continue its mission of inspiring the next generation of motocross riders while also uplifting the local community. For those of you that dont know our equipment is down and getting it fixed, for what feels like the thousandth time, is proving to be rather difficult. We're currently asking for donations through spotfund to gain enough funds to finally buy the proper equipment we need for what we've been trying so hard to achieve out here. I've provided some pictures of our equipment plus a shot of the property and i think we can all agree that what we have is not what we need even when it is running properly. We've seen a lot of comments over the years on how dusty it gets but what we don't think is being realized is that if we had the proper equipment dust wouldn't be nearly as big of a problem for us, we also wouldn't be working 10 times harder than we need to for 1 ride day just to have people see nothing but the bad and accuse us of not putting the work in that we need to when in reality we're actually working much harder than we should be. We're not only asking for donations we're asking everyone to become apart of the track themselves by helping us reach our goal to get the proper equipment to make moving forward a much smoother process. We've spent years struggling with what little we have and we're hoping after a little more insight everyone will see our struggle and come together to help get us where we need to be so we can provide nothing but the best for all of you to come and enjoy. For the few that have donated we just want to say we see you and we appreciate you more than you know. We honestly can not thank you enough because you've helped create a sense of hope that there are people out there willing to help us move forward. We're hoping we reach our goals so next season can be our best season yet and we can finally stop being held back from what we know we can accomplish. Hey everybody have no fear we are still here! I know we promised to keep you guys updated and have kind of gone MIA since then but truthfully there hasn't been much to update you with everything is still down and fixing it is more trouble than we originally thought it would be. This season has definitely been a rough one for us and now our funds are very limited due to openings being almost non existent. With that being said we've started a spotfund with the hopes that we can either get new equipment or at least get back up and running sooner rather than later so we can come back strong for our next season. Thank you all for your continued support we appreciate everyone that's been checking in with us and all of you that have come out and spent their time out here with us. Due to not having enough rain and our tractor unfortunately having issues we are canceled for today. With the dry conditions we're under, our lack of equipment at the moment and not having enough rain we don't think it will be very fun for anyone so we sadly have no choice but to cancel today's ride.

We'll be holding an open practice this Sunday 7am-1pm as long as the weather permits! We will have the track worked tonight. It looks we might get some storms on Saturday if it gets too muddy we won't be open. If we don't get any rain then we unfortunately won't be able to open as well. The last thing we want is a mud mess or for it to be too dry so as long as the weather works in our favor we will be open! We hope to see you all Sunday but if not have a great 4th of july weekend!! Keep posted we will have an update for you as early as possible Sunday morning! KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!!!🤞🤞

Good morning everyone we hope you all had had an amazing Easter with your families yesterday!!! Saturdays turnout was incredible! We're not going to lie to you we had a rough week last week with equipment issues starting with our skidloader rental going out followed by our tractor also going out. We were ready to cancel the ride bc there was no way we were going to be able to get any prep done whatsoever. However we were able to at least get the dirt turned so we were able to keep our opening ride for Saturday and it's all thanks to Brandon Shotts for lending us his tractor last minute and also to his wife and boys for helping with some last minute set up saturday morning. We would not have been able to have this ride if it wasn't for him and his wonderful family so thank you so much for the helping hands! We understand that it got pretty dusty due to us not being able to throw down any water but we would like to thank everyone that came out and respected the rules while still managing to have a good time despite the dust. We understand there were some people that didn't have the best time due to the dust and having to leave for not respecting the property or the people running the event. We urge everyone to please make yourself aware of our rules that are posted on both hole shots before getting on any of the tracks and to please respect the crew running this event because without them this place would not exist. These rules are there for everyone's safety and to keep the property in great shape. If your new to our place and are ever worried about your kids being on the 2 big tracks with the bigger bikes we do have a kids track available for that very reason. We strive for everyone's safety out here that's why we have our rules posted twice on the property. We also work very hard to keep the property nice to make it feel like a nice sanctuary for everyone that comes and visits us on our open days. We are a team of 2 people that do not come from very wealthy families and are working with the bare minimum for equipment. All of the money we make by being open goes right back into the track to keep it running. We have a family of our own and work full time jobs but we still find time to open up and give others a nice place to have fun and bring the whole family to get away from the stress of everyday life. Aside from the dust and the few problems we had Saturday it was a beautiful day with an amazing turnout! We would like to thank everyone again and we hope to be open again soon! We're going to try our best to get these tractor issues dealt with quickly so we can be back up and running again soon! We'll do our best to keep everyone posted!

Changes are coming! We're coming into this season with a few new ideas so we rented a skidloader and are changing some things up so we can start this season off right!! We're going to be working hard all week to get everything ready just in time to open up this weekend so be sure to keep an eye out for any updates!

Since the weather will be nice Sunday we will be having a Bikes only open practice from 9am-2pm! We thought we were done for the season but mother nature said NOPE!!!! Just a reminder anyone under the age of 18 must have their parent present. NO EXCEPTIONS! Also all riders must wear the proper riding gear while on the track! See yall in a few days!!!!
