Hey guys, wanted to send out a reminder about the 6th Annual GRIND TIME FITNESS "Turkey Day Charity Bootcamp"

This is a fat burning bootcamp style workout built specifically for this special occasion ONLY.

It’s meant to maximally torch calories, boost metabolism, and deplete muscle glycogen stores that will go along way to allowing room for some holiday treats, while also giving back to those in need! It will be a once-in-a-lifetime workout to remember that you can share with any interested friends and family.

Money will be donated to Franklin Community Food bank

This week’s Workout of the Week is a traditional pull-up!
How to perform the pull-up:

1. Grab the bar at or a little wider than shoulder width apart and squeeze your shoulder blades together

2. Pull yourself up, focusing on pulling from the elbow to get the best activation within the muscles of the back

3. Keep your legs together and little in front of your body to activate the core and keep your body from swinging

4. Keep the motion slow and controlled to keep constant tension on the muscles

Alternative Exercises For The Pull-Up!

1. Assisted pull-up- take a resistance band and strap it to the bar you are using and put the other end around your ankle

2. Partner pull-up- have someone hold your ankle to take some of the weight off of you pulling up

3. Inverted Row or TRX Row- Horizontal pull-ups are often easier as you can control how much weight is being resisted

Keep Life Simple!

Especially if it's a workplace area! A dedicated working space will significantly improve your mood and productivity. Here are the basic guides for setting up a minimalist home office:

1. Define working space -majority of working from home was challenged with setting up a workstation. It is important that family members know boundaries to help achieve the best business-family balance.

2. Commit to a clean space – anxiety may arise when you have so many things lying around. It can be difficult to locate the things that you need and end up wasting time and effort.

3. Purge papers - get the clutter under control before it takes over your house. Go through every piece of paper in your office and decide if you will shred it or file it. Use a color-coded filing system to organize your essential documents.

4. No to extras – just bring in what is absolutely required. There is no additional furniture, décor, or diploma. Keep the items in the room that you require and that serve a purpose.
