🔥 THANK YOU, CWC FAMILY! 🔥

As our August Free Sessions come to a close, we want to thank every athlete and family who attended. We truly appreciate everyone who stepped onto the mat and helped make these sessions a success!

A special thank-you to Coleman and Jessica Scott, owners of THE FARM Wrestling Academy, for opening their facility to CWC and providing us with a place to host these practices. Their continued generosity and support help us provide more wrestling opportunities for athletes throughout our community.

We also want to thank every coach who volunteered their time and shared their knowledge of the sport. Our coaches did an incredible job providing quality instruction while keeping the practices fun, engaging and beneficial for athletes of every experience level.

🤼 UPCOMING PRACTICES

Our coaching staff would like to continue providing opportunities for our advanced athletes during the remainder of this week. Advanced practice will be held:

• Wednesday at 6:00 PM
• Thursday at 6:00 PM

🔥 PRESEASON STARTS MONDAY!

Preseason practices begin Monday, September 7, and run through October 29.

• Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
• 6:00–7:30 PM
• $150 per athlete

Before attending, every athlete must have:

✅ A current 2026–27 USA Wrestling membership card
✅ Their preseason registration completed

IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP NOTICE

USA Wrestling membership cards expire August 31.

USA Wrestling memberships can be renewed now through the USA Wrestling membership website.

Please do not wait until the last minute to complete your renewal.

All athletes, coaches, and parents who access the practice or competition floor must have the appropriate and current USA Wrestling membership credentials.

SafeSport & Background Check Requirements

Any coach, parent, athlete, or other individual who is 18 years old or will be turning 18 and will be participating in or accessing the floor during a USA Wrestling-sanctioned practice, tournament, or event must make sure all required SafeSport training and/or background checks are completed and current before participating in any USA-sanctioned activity.

Please take care of these requirements now so there are no issues with practice access, coaching credentials, or competition participation once the new membership year begins.

IMPORTANT PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGE

CWC Members,

Due to The Farm Academy Open House on Wednesday, practices at The Farm this week will be held on:

• Monday, August 24
• Tuesday, August 25
• Thursday, August 27

Practice will remain from 6:00–7:30 PM.

There will be no practice on Wednesday this week. This is only a one-week adjustment, and our regular Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule will resume next week.
