End of the line for the Brawler II - Retired
I want to thank you all, for the many years of patronage, friendship, memories and great times we shared together in my career on the water. It's been a great ride and I wouldn't change a thing. I hope the Brawler II earned a roster spot on the long list of get-it-done charterboats on the Chesapeake. The time has come for me to step away.
Congratulations to Capt. Lenny "Len Dawg" Simmons on his acquisition of the Brawler II and many of its operational accouterments. Capt. Lenny is an ace fisherman with a dogged determination to make it happen. His success at "Simonizer Charters" is first class and admirable. More importantly, he is a great person and family man. Glad to call him a friend.
The Brawler II will undergo an upfit/refit and begin it's life as the new SIMONIZER in 2024. I ask that you give Capt. Lenny the opportunity to earn and keep your business as we did over these many years. I know you'll be right at home with Capt. Lenny at the helm.

Wishing the hard working captains of the Chesapeake the absolute best of luck. Some we interacted with, some we didn't. No matter, the fierce creed of independence, freedom and hard work...binds us all together.
I can't check out without a special thank you to the mates on the Brawler II. We ran for many years without one...the ones that came, found a home on the Brawler II. They've gone on to do big things.
Capt. Murray Easter
Capt. James Avedon
Capt. Ryan Sheerin
And Capt. Mike Middleton of Kodiak Charters.
We shared some good times fellas...and it is appreciated.
Thank you All!...Brawler out.
Capt. Bo
P.S. I'm not sick. I'm not dyin' (yet)....just livin' life and checkin' some boxes.
