Joseph Valley Rifle and Pistol Association and provides members and their guests a convenient place to shoot pistol and small-bore rifles 24-7, featuring NRA 50' indoor range with 8 lighted firing points and turning targets.As of July 2013 Grand Mere is no longer a "lead bullet only" gun range. We now have a backstop that allows shooters to fire any commercial jacketed pistol ammunition .45 calibe

r and smaller. We also have Concealed Weapon Permit and Range Safety Officer classes available.GMRP membership includes membership in the St. The association has an outdoor range at Bristol, IN. Outdoor Club Clean Up Date:
The club will have it's next club clean up date on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at 9am.

We will be focusing on cleaning up the grounds around the club and clean out the shed. Any Member's that are able to attend and help out would be greatly appreciated.

GMRPC Junior Rifle Program...
The goal of this program is to teach the basics of 3-position rifle, including safety, form, and teamwork. Anyone 18 years old and younger is invited to shoot as long as they can handle an air rifle safely (usually 9-10yo). This program is similar to the NRA marksmanship qualification program which sets progressive goals through prone, kneeling, and standing. The program starts in September once school starts and meets weekly through the end of the year.

Post Correction: 4/17/24... The club will be OPEN to members as we will not need to clean out the backstop and will only be melting lead outside. Again, the club will be OPEN.

Member Reminder: The club will be closed Saturday, April 20th, 2024 from 9am-2pm for another backstop cleaning and lead melting day. All members that can help, would be greatly appreciated.
