What an awesome meet in my backyard. Thanks to Trent and Corvallis Athletics for hosting. Scott and his team with USPA are second to none and put on such a welcoming event. My Coach Kristi and my team did outstanding. Several new state records and PR’s. And first meet I had my daughter’s family there. Great to see my grandkids rooting me on. At the end of the day I got first in my age and weight class for Full power, Push/Pull, Bench only, and Deadlift only. I set records in the Bench press, deadlift, and total weight lifted. The Deadlift at 364 pounds was a lifetime PR. And the biggest surprise was that I also won the overall men’s masters (over 40). Thanks to everyone’s support along the way.
