Hello Sabres families and friends we will be having our yearly parent meeting Tuesday December 30th in the Stevensville elementary gym from 6pm-7pm. This to get out all new info and answer any questions for the upcoming spring season. Please help spread the word out wide through out our great community. And if you have a kiddo wanting to play amazing soccer please register them before January 10th at sabresfc.org We look forward to seeing everyone's smile face both new and old!!

On Thursday, September 4th, we will be having a sunrise gathering to honor Mr. Ralph Serrette. A year since we have been without him.

If you wish to join us, we will gather by the flagpole at the high school soccer fields. Please bring a flashlight or your phone to get to the area in the dark.
Sunrise is supposed to be at 7:00am and we would like to have everyone gathered by 6:50am at the flagpole.
We will have a moment of silence, a special song for Ralph, and then some of his favorite music.
We hope to see you there!

Summer is flying by!!

The Sabres club is wanting to have a team, or teams, for the upcoming Fall state season.
This would be for players in the U12 and U14 age groups.
We don’t have the season details yet but it should be 6-7 weeks of games with practices being held twice a week.
Please text Cathi Cook at 406-240-3705 with the player’s name and birthdate.
We need to make a decision by this Friday, August 8th.
Tell your friends that are in those age groups too!

Fall Season Update-
Montana Youth Soccer is having their annual meeting this weekend to discuss specifics for the Fall season.
The plan to organize the schedules will be either the clubs setting dates & matches thru a spreadsheet or the state will do it if the clubs don’t want to. The spreadsheet would give us flexibility of hosting & playing close to home.
The season will probably start the weekend of September 6th and go till mid October. Again, games are on Saturdays & some tournaments are Saturday & Sunday.
The important thing is for players to commit to the season. Then when we have our player numbers, we can meet to decide what the majority wants to do regarding tournaments, distance, & form the team(s).
Waiting for information on costs now.

Stevensville Fall High School Sports meeting is scheduled for August 5th at 6pm in the H.S. Gym. If your kiddo is playing High School Soccer this fall get ahold of me to get on our teamreach, and to take advantage of a UK Soccer Camp we have coming up before two a days start.

Past, present, and future Sabres players and families!!
For many years now, Sabres soccer has had TNT fireworks stands in Stevensville and Florence.
This is a great fundraiser for the club that helps keep our registration fees the lowest in our area and also helps to support a soccer camp.
Our club has players from Hamilton to Frenchtown!! Players that would rather play for Sabres than that other club!
In the past, Ralph Serrette would man the Stevensville stand and have volunteers man the Florence stand. So this year we are looking for twice as many volunteers to sell fireworks in both locations!

Please help support our players and sign up for a shift, or two, at either of our locations. It is easy and a fun way to connect with our communities!

Players and Parents, there is a ref clinic in Missoula on 23rd at Sentinel HS from 12 to 4. There is another on 29th from 12 to 4 in Missoula, location TBD.

It is a requirement to have 2 referees per team per MYSA policy to be available to help with other matches due to shortage. It's fun, you get paid, you learn about the game, you give back!! Any questions please call me. 253 569 1244 Dave Gross
