There’s a lot t be said about this and as things progress we will talk more about it but I compare tournament fishing to nascar on the water someone throws money at you as a fisherman you turn into the, guy on the tournament trail who thanks everyone but your momma for helping them win because you’re contractually obligated to.
I’m starting late in my life in this space be letting everyone know that they can get into fishing no matter what and I sure as heck will not praise anyone or anything my business doesn’t align with. Guys who only fish with they’re head glued on a tv screen are in fact “teeing off the ladies tees” and that’s ok too.

Happy Sunday, FUBAR Fam!!! Getting ready for the 40th Annual National Championship Musky Open in Eagle River, Aug. 20–23? Here’s an Education First tip for anybody new to musky fishing… let the water temperature help choose your retrieve!

When the water is in the 60s to low 70s°F, start with a steady bucktail retrieve along w**d edges. If the water is cooler, slow it down and add pauses. If it’s warmer, check deeper edges and keep that bait moving. The fish will tell you what they want, so pay attention, adjust your speed, and don’t be afraid to make a few casts before changing everything up!

You don’t need the fanciest boat or the biggest tackle box to start learning. A good lure, a thermometer, some patience, and a willingness to learn will take you a long way… float or boat or whatever!!!

While you’re up in the Northwoods, keep an eye out for anything that says FUBAR Outdoors L.L.C. , patches, trucks, boats, or one of our team members wearing FUBAR gear! Snap a photo, tag us, and say hey!

All right, fubar fam let’s get ready for the biggest amateur musky tournament in the state the 40th annual national musky tournament championship that’s right 40 years ladies and gentlemen I’m so excited to take part in this event. It’s a great time in one of my favorite places in the world. Some people think I’m crazy for saying so but I was born and raised visiting the North Woods for my vacation time and I’ve held onto that over the years. So let’s get ready to celebrate with Fubar Outdoors LLC. By taking part in a where’s Fubar event.
