PSA - Division 2, 3, and Club Gymnastics is NOT something to throw shade at.

Even more, choosing to not do gymnastics in college because you want to pursue different interests that make you happy is also nothing to be ashamed of!

While things have gotten better, unfortunately in some areas of gymnastics the mentality of "Division 1 scholarship or bust" comes up.

Forcing this insane standard on yourself as a gymnast can lead to some seriously rough waters.

Chose the path that you genuinely enjoy, not what you think you are "supposed to" do or what you think will impress people.
