Welcome to Portage County Youth Soccer! We’re dedicated to fostering a love for soccer in players of all ages and skill levels.

Through teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun, we help young athletes grow both on and off the field. We're Portage County Youth Soccer (PCYS). PCYS is a volunteer organization dedicated to youth soccer, encouraging good sportsmanship, physical fitness, team play, a positive self-image, and the enjoyment of the game. PCYS is based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and serves over 700 children in Portage Cou

nty. PCYS is a member of the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) and abides by the rules set forth by the association. The club is made up of dedicated parents providing the highest quality soccer experience for youth in the community. PCYS is an all-volunteer organization. Competitive League Families (Classic/Select/State League): Volunteer slots are still open for the 2025-2026 season if needed, but you can also get a jump on volunteer hours for the upcoming 2026-2027 season! Grillers, concessions volunteers, and more are needed throughout the summer yet--please sign up to volunteer today!

Camp Shutout wrapped up this afternoon, but not before surprising us with a generous donation from their campers and staff! We greatly appreciate this gift and appreciate Coach Stan Anderson and the Camp Shutout crew for taking good care of PCYS during their time here!

PCYS has been busy lately as we welcome Camp Shutout to the complex! Over 800 goalkeepers and GK coaches are training 2-3 times as day working on diving, shot stopping, distribution, 1v1s, and more, and having a good time too. We hope they continue to have the best week of the year!

Due to continuing unsafe air quality conditions, Rec League is cancelled for tonight 7/16. We will hold make-up games on 8/13 for our TTh group and 8/12 for our high school group. Please watch your Playmetrics app later this week for the update!

Due to the current air quality conditions reaching the Very Unhealthy/Unsafe for All level combined with the heat advisory, we have made the decision to cancel PCYS activities including Rec League games for 7/15/2026. The safety of our players, coaches, refs, and families are our top priority. Stay safe!

Congratulations to Evolette Her, Donovan Loss, & Jackson Glodoski on their selection to the upcoming US Youth Soccer (USYS) ODP Midwest Summer ID Event!

These players are part of the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association ODP program and have been evaluated and selected as some of the best players in the Midwest! At the Midwest Summer ID event, players will continue to receive high-level training and also evaluation for potential selection to regional or national-level events.

Congrats to these players and their families who support them!
