This one was a little more special with tomorrow being 7 years without Garry, he was one of the family’s biggest supporters back when we first got into racing and it’s never been the same without him.

We started 4th in the heat race and finished 1st. The featire we were set to start 4th but ended up getting shuffled to the outside front row and came home with the win after taking the lead on lap 6.

Can’t thank Dave, Jody, Danielle, Maison, Irelyn, Marshall, Bill, Colton and Alexis enough! As well as all our great sponsors! It’s time to get this thing washed up and prepped for a 3 day event of racing at Merritt starting this Thursday!

Taking tonight off but will be at Merritt tomorrow

Here is the running order for this weekend's event! We have a lot of action on the schedule with all weekly divisions racing, as well as a $2000-to-win special for the Late Models! The Great Lakes Lightning Sprints will also be joining in on the action at Merritt Speedway! We hope to see everyone out at the track!

🟧Results⬜️

Friday results - Started 9th in the feature and got to 3rd before the rr cap came loose and the axel shaft came out. Managed to salvage a 5th.

Saturday results - Started 7th and started to battle for 3rd until the lr trailing arm bent causing the car to handle very tightly. Ended up looping it midway throufg the race while battling for 3rd and had to go to the rear. Came from rear back to 5th to salvage points.

Not our best weekend but everyone experiences bad luck so hopefully we can move past it. We would like to congratulate Danielle Robinson on her win Saturday night and Kyle Hunt on his win Friday night. Two competitors we love to race with!

Saturday results

Heat- Wr started 8th and worked up to 3rd and redrew the 7 out of 8.

Feature- We rolled out 7th and battled to 3rd and on a restart early in the race got crossed up with the leaders and ended up having to drive through the infield coming back out in 6th. From there battled back to 3rd without enough time to catch back up to the leaders to see if we had something for them.

Finally got the fuel issue solved in the 34 so the night was a success. DNF to save equipment. Back in the 3 at Merritt tomorrow! Come support a long awaited opening night!
