Something BIG is bubbling beneath the surface... 🌋💦

This September, we'll begin transforming Volcano Island Waterpark with an all-new water play attraction designed for nonstop interactive fun!

Starting in Summer 2027, guests will enjoy:
🌊 Three new waterslides
🌪️ A 360° Hydrostorm tower
🌋 A giant "Mile High" geyser
💧 More than 15 interactive water features, including water cannons, spray stations, and hands-on play throughout

Featuring a vibrant tropical island theme with a giant tiki and Easter Island-inspired designs, this new attraction is built to immerse kids in adventure. Plus, the play pool will be redesigned with a shallower 10-inch depth for the whole family to enjoy.

The annual Algonkian Club Championship is back! All public players and members are invited to play. Gross and Net Champions for each division will be crowned.

Saturday, September 12th, 2026

Deadline for Registration is September 7th, 2026

Shotgun Start at 9:00am

Price (Includes tournament round of 18-holes w/cart, post-round lunch, and awards)

$90 entry fee for non-members

$75 entry fee for Heron's Choice members

$40 entry fee for 5-day members and employees

Format

18-Hole Individual Stroke Play

Net and Gross Championships

To be eligible for the Net Championship in your division, you must have an established USGA handicap and a corresponding GHIN number.

Divisions

Men’s (18-59): Net and Gross

Senior Men’s (60+): Net and Gross

Women’s: Net and Gross

Tees

Men’s Division: Blue

Senior Men’s Division: Gold

Women’s Division: Red
