Rip City is excited to collaborate with current Pro Player, Ben Williamson for infield or hitting camp!
Williamson was selected in the 2nd round of the MLB Draft last year by the Seattle Mariners! The month prior, while still in college, he was named conference Player of the Year. In 2022, Williamson was named Coastal Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year! He was ranked 38th nationally and led his college conference with a .390 batting average. Williamson finished his senior college season before the MLB draft with 49 RBI, 11 doubles, five triples, and 12 Home Runs!
Williamson’s 1PM session will include instruction for all infielders, and also highlight Corner Infield skills & drills. The latter 2PM session will transition into hitting absolutes. Ben made significant swing changes throughout his career and he will offer advice, tips, and drills to help hitters reach their own respective goals!
Williamson will be assisted by his former HS Coach, Mark Wrighte who’s HS team has put up powerful offensive stats during Williamson’s tenure including subsequent years as well! Their HS team has had several infielders over the last decade mature into college players, including defenders who continued to play infield at the college ranks!

Younger youth players may enroll, but will be waitlisted & offered opportunities should older campers end up ill or with last minute conflicts, etc.
