Hey friends! Here’s info on IATF qualifiers.

The TLDR is that there seems to be specific metrics people need to be qualified.

Round 1 of the 2026 Wilson Cup Championships will be held March 20-22, 2026! This is the time of year when all qualifying IATF throwers around the world compete for a coveted spot in “the 256” - those elite throwers who will have the opportunity to throw in Round 2 at the International Axe Throwing Championships in Toronto in May. Don’t miss your chance to compete in the 2026 Wilson Cup!

It’s not too late to qualify for Round 1! You have to complete 3 IATF regulation seasons at 1 IATF member organization between March 7, 2025 and March 6, 2026. Based on your performance in league play, there are several paths to qualification that you can follow here:https://internationalaxethrowingfederation.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/IATC-Qualification-Flowchart.pdf

Here you can see who has already qualified as well as who is close to qualifying in the “Potential Qualifiers” tab. The “Seasons” tab lists all the seasons member venues have offered and whether they are a qualifying season. Note that these lists are subject to change and the final official list will be released once the qualification period ends.

You can complete Round 1 at ANY IATF member that is hosting it.

Remember that throwers MUST compete in Round 1 in order to advance to Round 2, even if they have already guaranteed a spot in Round 2 via the Integrated Tournament Circuit.
