Lake Shore Sail Club The best sailing club value on Lake St. Clair! LSSC is a family-friendly racing and social club.

The LSSC racing program includes ten Sunday and Special races for club members and the very popular Wednesday night Spring and Summer Sunset Series which attracts many of the area's avid racing boats. In addition, LSSC hosts "The Inter-Club Team Championship Race" which is open to all DRYA yacht clubs. Although we don't have a clubhouse, LSSC provides numerous opportunities for socializing. Our cr

uising program consists of at least three summer cruises to area ports and features group breakfasts, cocktail parties and barbecues. Off-season activities include a fall steak roast (hosted by our past commodores), several weekend social outings and the formal event of the year, the Commodore's Ball. Boats that plan to race both our June 26 Friday Night Lights race and GLYC's Summer Regatta on Saturday can dock at GLYC Friday night for free. This is on a first come, first served basis and MUST be arranged in advance by June 21. Skippers can request a well assignment by contacting LSSC VC Andy Schultz at [email protected]. Huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers that helped with Race Committee and got the DRYA race season started with a smile, even in the rain. We are proud to say the RC was all LSSC members, +1 guest volunteer. Special thanks to RC Mark Bowery on Mon Amie for being Committee Boat and to GLYC for the use of Lucky as Mark Boat.

Edit 5/20: Updated splits were just posted. Boats added, no changes to classes. Also, we have gotten several inquiries from folks looking to crew, which is a GREAT thing. If anyone needs crew for tonight post in the comments - we do have at least one person looking for a ride. Bring your fleece hats!

LSSC's popular Wednesday night Spring and Summer Sunset Series Races are open to all area sailors. These two competitive six-race series regularly attract a large number of the areas avid racing skippers.
