We had a great 2017 scallop season.
Moorings friends returning to say hi and gone out to find a scallop dinner. They brought them in and by August they were the largest scallops I've seen. We seem to be having a replay of last Sept. This year it is named Irma and seems to be the big sister of last year's hurricane. We can expect 120 mph winds by Sat. or so they say, Again the question "should I stay or should I go." Usually I stay and keep retying the boats and docks and play in the rain but this year may require more thinking. It doesn't pay to play with Mother Nature, I wonder who ticked the Good Lord off this time. I think the Lord knows Texas, Florida and the Islands will make a good showing of handling this. Keep safe.

We are having a busy and fun scallop 2017 scallop season. I went out the past two weekends and never stop thanking Phillip Savy for the hand rails and swim ladder he made me for my boat. I just hop in and out. I just introduced them to one of my renters for her boat, Come and join me. I still have Aug space available in Aug. in the River House.
