This is a fun drill we like to use to work on maintaining a consistent sight picture and precise trigger control under a time constraint.
It also provides valuable information about your optic zero at closer distances.
Start position - Holstered
Distance - 5 yards
Target - 1” triangle
Time - 10 seconds
Standard - All 5 rounds must touch with a minimum of 1 on the triangle in under 10 seconds.
This sometimes becomes a game of “connecting the dots” while attempting to put at least one on the triangle.
Today’s best group was done in 8.94.
