Steamboat Bike Park Steamboat Bike Park features downhill and freeride bike terrain for all ability levels.

The Steamboat Bike Park features more than 50 miles of downhill and freeride bike terrain, bringing a high-intensity biking environment to Steamboat. Expert trails feature step-down rollers, wooden berm/wall ride, large dirt berms, 10-foot wooden ladder step down, step-up, rollers and a line of nine table-top dirt jumps in rapid succession. Beginner trails feature dirt berms, banked turns and wood

en slat and ladder bridges. Steamboat Bike Shop rents top-of-the-line freeride bikes as well as freeriding armor and apparel.

Sept 21-28 Construction & Trail Impacts:

🛑 Why Not Road closed Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.
🏞️ Mahogany Ridge Express haul rope installation starts in October; no Pioneer trail impacts this weekend.
🗓️ Sept 25: Duster Road closed for power tie-in.
🗓️ Sept 26-29: Rocky Mountain Youth Corps performing trail maintenance on upper forest service trails, open with alerts.
🐻 Due to bear activity on Lickity Split, it will be closed for the time being.

August 4 - August 10 construction & trail impacts:

⚠️ Moonlight trail remains closed for snowmaking installations. Sunshine Trail and Cathy’s Cutoff will also be closed for pipe installation but should reopen Friday 8/4.

🚁 Saturday August 5th - Helicopter will be flying cut trees from Lower High Noon to Vagabond Saddle 7:30 am to 9:30am.

🌲 Forest service trails closed: Pioneer, Why Not Rd, and Spur Run.

🚧 Cowpoke, Lickity Split, Gunsmoke, YooHoo Road and the Thunderhead hiking trail closed when the helicopter is refueling.

Exciting progress is taking place on Wild Blue Gondola installation. 🚠 Construction and trail impacts to plan your week ahead:

Beginning July 31:
🚫 Moonlight Trail, Sunshine Trail and Cathy's Cutoff closed for pipe or snowmaking installation.
⚠️ Access to the Resort via Mountain View Trail impacted during these closures.

Wednesday, August 2:
🚁 Helicopter flying concrete from Rainbow saddle to the top of Wild Blue Gondola terminal.
