What a week for Elevate athletes Sidney and Josi!!

Both were selected to represent our country on the US U23 Skyrunning team and competed in the Youth World Championships in Italy this last weekend.

In their first Sky VK and Skyrace they absolutely crushed it against some of the best young skyrunning athletes in the world.

Josi took 4th in the VK YA_F category and 8th in the Skyrace YA_F category.

Sidney took 5th in the VK YB_F category and 3rd in the Skyrace for a 3rd overall combined position and 3rd place podium finish overall.

A BIG Congratulations to Josi and Sidney.

Sidney will also be racing in Chamonix, France at the end of the month to finish off her summer racing season. GOOD LUCK Sidney!

What an incredible week with 2025 Elevate Mountain Running athletes! Big mountain miles and summits, family meals, restful nights at base camp, recovery yoga, mental strategies, breath and posture, sports nutrition, mental toughness, lake and river soaks, and friendships to last a lifetime!

Big things are happening at Elevate Mountain Running! As we continue growing toward our mission of building a true pathway into mountain running and racing, we’re beyond stoked to share some exciting news:
Elevate Mountain Running Camp is now an official camp for the US Skyrunning Youth Team!
Coaches Jeremy and Lisa Renee have been hard at work creating more opportunities for our amazing Elevate community — and it’s paying off. We’re incredibly proud to announce that four Elevate athletes have been selected for the 2024 US Youth Skyrunning Team and will be competing at the Youth World Championships in Italy this August!
🇺🇸 Congrats to Benjamin Townsend, Rio Townsend, Sidney McIntosh, and Josi Smeets for representing Team USA
We’re also honored to share that Coaches Jeremy, Lisa Renee, and Alicia are the official coaching team for the Skyrunner World Series, which hosts races in 20+ countries worldwide.
Benjamin and Rio Townsend are currently in their second season on the U23 Skyrunner World Series, and will be racing across Spain, Malaysia, Japan, France, and Italy.
To everyone who joins us each year at camp, THANK YOU. Your energy, commitment, and love for the mountains fuel everything we do.
