Congratulations to our Stayton FFA members on an incredible Marion County Fair!

Ashley Heuberger wrapped up her final Marion County Fair in style, earning Grand Champion in Advanced Showmanship! Ashley also had an outstanding market goat show:
Grizzly – 1st in class, 4th Overall Market Goat
Jack – 1st in class & Advanced Champion Showmanship
Meat goat Herdsmanship- 1st place banner
Ashley was also awarded a Marion County Junior Livestock Auction Scholarship! We couldn’t be more proud of her hard work, dedication, and all she has accomplished. Best of luck as you begin your next chapter at George Fox University!

Megan Hernandez earned 4th Place in Novice Poultry Showmanship in her very first year showing poultry.

Ambri Hill received a Blue Ribbon for her beautiful photography entry in the Static Exhibits.

Congratulations to all three of these outstanding young ladies! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of you and look forward to watching the next generation of Stayton FFA members continue these traditions next year.

Our Stayton FFA members have spent months raising and caring for their livestock, and today is their chance to showcase all of their hard work at the MCJLA Livestock Auction!

Whether you’re a longtime buyer, a local business, or simply want to support our hardworking youth, we’d love to see you there.

Come out and cheer on two of our outstanding Stayton FFA members today at the Marion County Fair!

This evening marks Ashley Heuberger’s final time showing her market goat before she heads off to George Fox University this fall. Let’s help send her off with a big Stayton FFA crowd! 🐐💛 Ashley will compete in Market Goat Showmanship at 6:00 PM.

🐔 Also be sure to cheer on Megan Hernandez as she shows her market chickens in Poultry Showmanship, starting around 3:00 PM.

Congratulations Ashley!

🌟 Celebrating Excellence: Ashley Heuberger Named March Rotary Student of the Month! 🌟

Stayton High School is bursting with pride to announce Ashley Heuberger as our Stayton Area Rotary Student of the Month for March! Ashley is the true definition of a powerhouse student-leader, seamlessly blending academic achievement with a heart for service and mentorship.

Currently ranked 1st in the Class of 2026 with a perfect 4.0 GPA, Ashley's dedication to her studies is nothing short of inspiring. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is on track to earn an honors diploma while completing dual pathways in Agriculture and Medical Sciences.

If there is a leadership role to be filled, you can bet Ashley is there making an impact! Her journey of excellence includes:
- FFA Officer: A dedicated 4-year member of the Stayton FFA chapter, she has served as Reporter and Secretary, and currently holds the office of Vice President.
- Coach & Mentor: With 15 years of cheerleading under her belt, Ashley now coaches youth teams, passing on her leadership and patience to athletes as young as four.
- Outdoor School Counselor: She has spent two years guiding younger students at Stayton Middle School.
- Agricultural Excellence: Beyond the books, Ashley raises and shows market and Nigerian dwarf goats, competing at the Marion County Fair for the past four years.

Ashley's future is just as bright as her present! After graduation, she plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a degree in health sciences. Her ultimate goal is to become a Pediatric Physician Assistant right here in Oregon, where she can make a lifelong positive difference in children's lives. When she isn't busy leading or studying, Ashley's world revolves around her close-knit family. She loves hanging out with her sister and is a proud auntie and frequent babysitter to her nephew, Brady.

Please join us in a huge round of applause for Ashley Heuberger! We are so proud of your hard work and can't wait to see all you accomplish in the medical field and beyond!
