This week is going to look a little different at The Rock. We are closing our staffed operations for the remainder of the week so we can dedicate some much-needed time to working on the facility.
We’ve talked quite a bit lately about the changes we want to make throughout The Rock, Anchor Point and Bell Haven, and this week we’re finally getting the opportunity to put some of those plans into action. We’ll be working on renovations, reorganizing spaces, making updates and tackling some of the projects that are difficult to accomplish while we’re trying to operate around everyone at the same time.
This is definitely not a week off. If anything, we’ll probably be working harder with the doors closed than we normally do with them open.
For our gym members, your 24-hour access will continue as normal. You can still come in and train throughout the week. The closure applies to our staffed operations, Anchor Point and Bell Haven while we work on the building.
We will reopen with our normal hours next Tuesday, and we’re looking forward to having everyone back.
Some of the changes we’re making this week will be things you can immediately see. Others are part of improving how the facility functions and preparing for some of the things we have planned over the next several months.
There has been a lot happening behind the scenes lately as we’ve taken a closer look at what we want The Rock to become and how we can make the entire experience better—from the gym and recovery side to Anchor Point, events, community and the facility itself.
This week is simply about giving ourselves the space to actually get some of that work done.
We’ll share some of what we’re working on throughout the week, so you may get a few behind-the-scenes looks at the progress—and probably some of the chaos that comes with it.
Thank you for being patient with us while we work.
We’ll see everyone back next Tuesday.
