As important as gun oil or lubricant is, gun grease is virtually essential for critical high-wear gun parts that are most vulnerable to friction. The most obvious application point on semiautomatic pistols are the rails, followed by the connector, pins, the hood of the barrel, sear, lugs, slide and even the trigger.

Unlike CLP oil, which you want to polish on until it's no longer wet, you should see a good gloss of grease on those key l**e points, but not so much as to see the color of it. It's like car wax, you don't want the initial heavy haze, just the final shiny polish if not a bit more. The real magic occurs where you can't see it, down into the substrate of the gunmetal. Trust it. Not any grease, just ours.

For light duty shooting, especially for pistols, the water-based detergent cleaner degreaser is all you need, especially if are using synthetic lubricants. No odor. Gentle on the skin. Low residue.

Spray and wipe carbon fouling right off gunmetal surfaces before re-lubing. It can be that easy. Don't be fooled. This has more cleaning power than you might think.

This is the "C" when we mention C+LP in maintaining your guns in fire-ready condition. Your revolvers and semi-automatic handguns will appreciate it.

Use the carbon cleaning bore solvent soaked into a jumbo swab for effective powder residue removal. Good for all types of fi***rms - pistols, r***es and handguns - and it is easy to wipe out this cleaner residue before using any of our superior lubricants.

There are different ways to go, but the Tetra Gun Bore Solvent applied with swabs or cotton patches won't let you down. Clean your gunmetal, followed by lubrication to keep it running smooth.
