I appreciate everyone that took time to reach out over the last week. It hasn’t been an easy one on the heart. Through it all I hope I’ve been a model for our guys of one our things the Dudes live by; we may bend but we don’t break. If you reach out and it takes a couple days to get a response I promise I am not ignoring, I will be back home with my family for the next few days. I say it all the time. Baseball is great, but you better make sure you surround yourself with even better people. Much love 🩵

At some point you gotta realize , developing at a young age doesn’t come from; playing , playing , playing. When are you taking the time to fix the things you struggle with outside of 2 hours a week? Or are you just compounding it on top of each other weekly until it’s too far gone. Don’t fall into the trap of you have to play everytime they host a tournament.

Everybody loves “earned playing time” until their kid isn’t the one earning it.

Then suddenly it’s daddy ball, politics, bad coaching, favoritism and “we’re looking for a new team.”

And somehow the kid playing ahead of theirs is never just better. There’s always another reason.

Sometimes your kid just got beat out. And apparently we’re not allowed to say that anymore.
