📸🥋 KARATE PICTURE DAY — STATESBORO KARATE!

We’re excited to announce that Karate Picture Day is coming to Statesboro Karate!

This year’s photographer is Meredith and we’re especially proud to have her working with our students and families. Meredith and her family have been part of our martial arts family for several years, and we truly appreciate the continued support they have shown our school.

Now we have an opportunity to return that support by having a talented local photographer capture some great memories of our students! Supporting local businesses and the families who support our school is something that is very important to us.

đź“… Picture Day Dates:

September 22 | 4:00–7:00 PM
September 24 | 4:00–7:00 PM
September 26 | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

📲 Scan the QR code on the flyer, find the date that works for your family, enter your email, and get ready for Picture Day!

We hope our Statesboro Karate families will come out, get some awesome pictures, and help us support a local photographer who has supported our martial arts family for years.

I thought I would share this common sense for our people to see. We teach this also.

Real self-defense starts long before the first physical contact.

If you believe protection begins with striking, locking, or kicking, you have already lost the pre-contact phase. Tactical personal safety is not an accident—it is the ruthless elimination of unnecessary risk factors.
The simplest and most effective formula: The Rule of Stupid.

Avoid Bad Things: Do not provoke dangerous situations, feed your ego, or engage in high-risk escalations.

Avoid Bad Places: Steer clear of dark alleys, unmonitored hotspots, and blind corners. Your terrain dictates your escape routes.

Avoid Bad Times: At 02:30 AM on the street, reaction times drop and the environmental inhibition threshold collapses.

Avoid Bad People: Stay clear of aggressive groups, intoxicated individuals, and volatile crowds before momentum builds.

Eliminate all four factors and you simply remove yourself as a target. The best fight is the one that never happens.

Which of these four variables do people underestimate the mostâť“
