🏁 THANK YOU WYTHE RACEWAY! 🏁

Wow… is all we can say about the entire Wythe Raceway crew for providing an absolutely incredible racing surface last night!

The fans witnessed everything you could ask for:
🔥 Slide jobs
🔥 Door-to-door racing
🔥 Passing around the top
🔥 3 and 4-wide battles through the corners
🔥 Intense restarts with drivers fanning out down the frontstretch heading into Turn 1

It was the kind of racing that reminds everyone why we love this sport.

And then there were the fans…

The supporters of this Rural Retreat wonder of the racing world are simply second to none. When you can hear the crowd roaring from the pit area over the race cars as the action heats up on the track, that tells you everything you need to know. The passion, excitement, and dedication these fans bring every time the gates open make Wythe Raceway a truly special place.

🏁 WHAT A FINISH AT WYTHE RACEWAY! 🏁

The Southern Wedge Latemodel Association put on an absolute barn burner Saturday night at Wythe Raceway as Kennie Compton Jr. and Mike Huey battled wheel-to-wheel right down to the checkered flag! Same as teams all the way threw the feild also battled wheel to wheel on the amazing multiple groove surface🏁

When the checker fell , it was Kennie Compton Jr. standing in Victory Lane after edging out Mike Huey in a thrilling finish that had the Wythe Raceway crowd on its feet.

Congratulations to Kennie and his team on a hard-fought victory, and hats off to Mike Huey for making him earn every inch of it in one of the best races of the Southern Wedge season!
