Krieg Strength

Krieg Strength Private and Group Barbell coaching by Professional Barbell Coaches Caleb Krieg and Rebekah Cygan out We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

Who:
Anyone committed to improving their overall fitness and general physical preparedness. Our strength and conditioning program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience and fitness level. Anyone can do it. What:
Our strength and conditioning program is an effective way to get fit. It is a fitness program that c

ombines a wide variety of functional movements into a timed or scored workout. We do pull-ups, squats, push-ups, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing and a host of other movements. Always varied, always changing, always producing results. When:
We workout on a 3 days on, 1 day off split. We currently meet in the evening. Morning, afternoon and additional evening sessions will be added if there is interest. Where:
We are located at 15 Corning Street in Lock Haven, PA. Our facility is not a cozy place. There are no televisions, no machines, no comfortable spot to sit - and there are no mirrors. Our equipment is what we've assembled and personally used for the past 2 years - it is not shiny and new. We will add new equipment as demand dictates. Why:
Our goal is to increase strength and endurance in order to be functionally fit - being healthy, strong and better prepared for whatever life throws at us. Additional benefits include having fun, a sense of community and looking better naked. How:

Congrats Eric James Dahl] 💪

Repost from Eric James Dahl] using - While listening to the podcast approximately 5 years ago (episode 302), Brett had to talk about Brett's experiences. I think I mulled it around for a while longer, but in October of 2017 I became a client of and was paired with . The video from my first test workouts are embarrassing for me to watch, as I've made enormous improvements, not only in strength and technique, but also in my ability to identify problems. When I got started, I assumed I was an advanced athlete and had good form. I was not and I did not.

Recently, I hit a milestone of having completed 1000 training sessions with BLOC. As a consequence, I feel like I learned (or had reinforced) a few lessons.

1.) Consistency is king. This is the case in the gym, in the kitchen, or for most pursuits in life.

2.) Voluntary hardship can refine you for the better if you'll allow it.

3.) Just because you're on the wrong side of 30 (or even 40) doesn't mean you can't set PRs and be strong.

4.) Don't overthink missed reps or training sessions. Move forward, don't beat yourself up, and get back after it tomorrow. You're not a bad person; you're merely human.

5.) Be honest with your coach, but more importantly be honest with yourself about what is important and brings you joy.

Here's to a 1000 more!

Oren putting on a good performance at USAPL’s Squat Challenge today. Squatting 2x BW for 10 reps on the main stage is pretty cool.

Even more proud of him for training through some tough hurdles that life placed in his way this past month. A lot of consistent hard work put in under less than ideal conditions.

2 years ago this weight was 3rd attempt material. These days it’s volume work 😎

Congrats Oren. Looking forward to what the rest of the competition calendar brings.

Go Bear!

At the end of the 2019 season, the Lycoming College football team put together a run of three straight 40-point games for the first time since 2000. It was a highlight to a tough season that saw the team finish 4-6, and it seemed to be setting things up well for the future.
