Wow, what a WEEK. 🥹

Our first week of Season 5 has been filled with so much excitement, love, passion, new experiences, and so many little moments that remind us why we love what we do. There’s truly nothing like having our studios full again. ♡

A little peek at our Ballet + Jazz Combo class from yesterday — a class that is officially SOLD OUT! ⭐

If you have a 4–5 year old looking to dance with us this season, we still have a few spots available in some of our other classes! We’d love to set up a FREE trial class and find the perfect fit for your dancer.

We are BEYOND excited to welcome Onna Williams to the Lucky Star teaching faculty 🤍

What better way to welcome her to the studio than with a Contemporary Progressions + Combinations Masterclass. 🤩

A little about Onna ↓✨

Onna currently trains and competes at Evolve Dance Complex in Pittsburgh while continuing her ballet training at Nittany Ballet here in State College. She travels the Dance One + Revel circuits and has trained at intensives in LA, New York, and Boston.

Most recently, Onna was named Pro Reveler of the Year at Revel Nationals and took 1st Place at The One Nationals as the Senior One of One Soloist.

She trains in all genres, with contemporary + jazz being her main focus, and we are so excited to have her bring her artistry and experience into our studio.

We are beyond excited to officially welcome Mrs. Stacy Olenoski to the Lucky Star Dance Company family! ⭐

With 30+ years of teaching and choreography experience, a Dance minor from Penn State, years of coaching competitive dancers (including the State High Dance Team), award-winning choreography, and a passion for helping dancers of every age grow in confidence, creativity, and technique, we know our students are going to LOVE learning from her! ♡

Mrs. Stacy believes dance is about so much more than steps and trophies - it’s about building confidence, creating lifelong memories, and helping every dancer discover the joy of movement. Her positive, encouraging teaching style makes every dancer feel seen, supported, and inspired to be their very best.

✨ INTRODUCING YOUR NOVA JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPION! ✨
Thinking about this moment still brings tears to my eyes. 🥹 A huge congratulations to Whitney, your Nova Junior World Champion, with her breathtaking solo, “The House That Built Me.” ♡
This dance was so much more than a routine - it was her story. It was about vulnerability, authenticity, and having the courage to let the audience see a piece of her heart through movement. That became Whitney’s greatest strength this season. Every time she stepped on stage, people didn’t just watch her dance - they felt her dance. The connection she created with every audience was something truly special, and it was beautiful to watch her perform from her heart all season long.

Whitney had an incredible year, pushing herself to new heights and embracing every challenge along the way. Watching her grow - not only as a dancer, but as an artist and performer - has been such a privilege. Every rehearsal, every correction, and every performance led to this unforgettable moment.

And beyond the awards, Whitney is simply an incredible teammate. She fills every room with laughter, brings so much joy to our studio, and is the definition of a hype girl. Whether she’s cheering from the wings, celebrating every teammate’s success, or spending an entire competition weekend supporting others, she leads with kindness, encouragement, and the biggest heart.

Whitney, we could not be more proud of you. Thank you for sharing your heart with us every single time you step on stage. We can’t wait to watch your journey continue and see everything Season 5 has in store for you. ♡

✨ INTRODUCING YOUR SENIOR ELITE DANCER - NATIONAL TITLE WINNER ✨
WOW… still on cloud nine and so incredibly excited to announce that Kate was selected as the Senior Elite Dancer of StarQuest World Finals! 🏆✨

Congratulations, Kate, on becoming a National Title Winner and earning 2nd Overall Elite Senior Soloist out of more than 80 incredible dancers! What a HUGE accomplishment and such a well-deserved honor!

In just her very first season with Lucky Star, Kate has grown in so many ways - from her confidence and artistry to her technique and stage presence. But beyond the dancer she is, what makes Kate so special is the person she is.

If you know Kate, you know she is truly one of the kindest souls. She is always willing to help, always ready to lend a hand, and always gives 150% to her team. She is the dancer who works hard behind the scenes, shows up every day wanting to become the best version of herself, and never stops pushing forward - and it shows.

Kate, you are truly a gift to our Lucky Star family, and we could not be more proud of you. ♡ Watching you accomplish something like this is so special because it represents all of the hard work, dedication, and heart you have poured into this season.
