Starkville Gun Club is a member owned club dedicated to the pursuit and proliferation of all Shooting Sports. There are NO PUBLIC shooting days. Thank You! Clark

Rifle and Pistol Ranges are open ONLY to SGC Members and their Guests. The "REQUIRED" SGC New Member Safety Briefing is given on Thursday Evening at 6:30 PM at the Starkville Gun Club. Please arrive by 6:30 and you should plan for at least an hour from beginning to end. To ensure that the briefings have not been cancelled for any given Thursday there is a Calendar at: http://www.starkvillegunclub.

org/calendar.php which also lists SGC Activities of all types. If you are unable to attend on Thursday evening other times can be arranged on a Case-By-Case basis. Dues are payable with Cash or Check only. No debit or credit cards are accepted. You are not obligated to join and if you are present for the safety briefing your information will be taken and you will not have to re-attend the Safety Briefing and may join afterward at Boardtown Trading post during their normal business hours. SGC Membership is Calendar, runs from 1 January through 31 December. Annual Membership dues are $200.00 and provides open family access to the SGC Rifle and Pistol Ranges during daylight hours. There is no proration of dues meaning if you join TODAY your membership will only be through December 31 of this year. The Initial Shotgun Clay Target Card cost is $70.00 for the first 500 Clay Targets or 20 Rounds @ 25 Targets. You do not have to be a Shotgun Member to be an Annual Member and you may become a Shotgun Member at anytime by purchasing your first Clay Target Card, attending the additional Clay Target Safety Briefing and being assigned your TargetTag Card.

SGC is not open to the public so you need to come on a Thursday Evening at 6:30 PM when we have our New Member Safety Briefings. Otherwise, you will likely find a Locked Gate.

The Bulldog Shooting Sports at Mississippi State University is a student ran organization (Originally known as Mississippi State Shooting Sports. The name change will occur soon.) Like so many hobbies and sports, shooting sports is quite expensive. Our student shooters could not practice and compete without the financial help of their families and others.

No amount is too small. The team thanks you in advance!

Field lights turned on at 4:00 PM or as required for later squads.
6 weeks of 100 Targets per week. 50 5Stand and 50 S***t Double Targets.

$20.00 per week for 100 targets.

5 Stand presentation will change every 2 shooting weekends.

1 Time 10.00 Lewis League purse due first week of shooting. Purse awarded based on the BEST 4 of Total 6 scores.

League targets must be shot before practice on shooting days.
SGC Clubhouse will be available for escape from the elements.
November 19 Regular 3rd Sunday 5Stand and Doubles S***t Practice for those who would like to shoot.
