Set atop the rolling hills, the MS Horse Park is a beautiful 100 acre facility that is a unique partnership of the City of Starkville, Oktibbeha County and Mississippi State University. Not only does the Horse Park offer a variety of fantastic events but it is also dedicated to supporting 16 hours of weekly labs and classes taught through the university along with hosting a therapeutic riding program.

What a weekend it was for the Meagan McCain Memorial Barrel Race at the Horse Park August 7-9! There were 270 contestant...

What a weekend it was for the Meagan McCain Memorial Barrel Race at the Horse Park August 7-9! There were 270 contestants representing 12 states. This event sold out all 338 permanent stalls and had temporary ones setup for the overflow. The total payout was $110,011.60, which makes it worth it to contestants to travel from all over to compete.
