Teamed up with Furlongs Smoke & Seafood to cook the Front Yard this weekend at Minnesota In May. Team Los Lavender Boiz turned in some entries that we were proud of, but the judges didn’t really love anything we offered, but we got to spend some quality time together and visit with our BBQ Family.

Congrats to all of our friends who heard thier named called this weekend. Congrats to Burnt Trees BBQ, smokin suckers, Big Ten Bones, & Sassy Smoke BBQ on their GC & RGC’s!

It’ll be quiet on the BBQ front for us this year as we work on forming M&M motorsports. Little Mollie has found a new love for Motocross, and little Bro myles enjoys ripping around on his quad and helping out as chief snack officer, and occasional wrench turner. We’ll be back out for SD BBQ Shootout at Huset's Speedway the kids are counting down the days for this one!

Wasn’t exactly the cook i was hoping for, but it was a good rep before heading to The American Royal. As always, it was great to see the BBQ Fam and meet some new friends. Ashley and the Scheels crew ran a great contest

Back home from SD BBQ Shootout at Huset's Speedway what and absolute BADASS contest Trent and the team put on. Unfortunately the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series was rained out last night but we still got to see some racing Friday night, and it’s safe to say Myles is HOOKED.

It’s been 6 months since we cooked a contest, and almost 2 years since the whole wrecking crew was together at a contest. We explored Sioux Falls, South Dakota, found an awesomeome playgroundd that the kids absolutely loved and never wanted to leave, and then drove around checking out some of the historic homes and buildings in the area. It was good to have the family back out there and we got some quality time together and we were happy with where we ended up, just need to polish a few things before ND BBQ Championship

28th chicken
14th Ribs
29th Pork
4th Brisket
16th of 44 overall.
We also tied for 5th in the Peoples Choice category with our Pulled Pork Tacos.

It’s been a hot minute!

Knocking some rust off today at our family reunion, and there’s lots of it! We’re also learning our new (to us) Outlaw BBQ Smokers. I learned a lot about competition bbq on this pit from Pigtamer BBQ at the Hometown Hero Outdoors BBQ bootcamp over the years, and i’m happy to have this beauty. Gotta get a few reps in before the end of the month when we head to SD BBQ Shootout at Huset's Speedway for our first cook in South Dakota 😁

It’s a Thursday…..in May….trailer is hooked up, but not to head to a contest 🤷‍♂️ The Crew is taking a summer off to get in some more time on the lake and trails this summer. We will be coming out to play in parking lots again in August though! Signed up for SD BBQ Shootout at Huset's Speedway and ND BBQ Championship this morning. Had a great time at Fire on Ice BBQ Championship this weekend on lake Mille Lacs. It was great to see the BBQ family and enjoy a beautiful weekend. I even got a pretty nice tan this weekend! 😂 heres how it played out.

Chicken: 36th- Walmart (i’d run that box again)
Ribs: 8th Compart Family Farms
Pork: 18th Wholestone Farms
Brisket: 6th Costco Baxter MN
Overall 11th of 42
