Fudo Yama Karate-Jutsu The roots of Fudo Yama Karate Jutsu are based deep in the teachings of traditional Okinawan shorin-ryu karate.

The powerful and precise traditional Okinawan Seibukan karate has been passed down from one of Okinawa's greatest known karate masters, Chotoku Kyan. This traditional style of karate is taught and learned today practically how it was learned and practiced centuries ago. The legacy continues through one of Kyan's honorable student, Master Zenryo Shimabukuro and currently continues through his son,

Hanshi Zenpo Shimabukuro. Fudo Yama Karate-Jutsu teaches in an atmosphere of mutual respect and dignity with a commitment to excellence and building one's mind, body, and spirit.

Sharing a program called Japanology which recently aired on a Japanese broadcast (NHK World) about traditional Okinawan karate-do featuring Shimabukuro Sensei and his son at the hombu dojo in Chatan. Very informative and very well done!

Guinness World Record for the most people simultaneously performing a kata set this morning by 4000 karateka in downtown Naha, Okinawa, directed by Shimabukuro Zenpo Hanshi, the head of Seibukan.
