💛 GOLD COURSE UPDATE! 💛 As of noon today, the tee for hole 8 has been completely redone and moved to a new location, about 100 feet closer to the basket. Now measuring at 561 feet, the tee shot angle hasn't really changed, but a 350 foot drive can get you to the mouth of the tunnel and lined up for a straight approach to the green.

In the longrun, we plan to have our arborist limb up the large trees on the left and right sides of the tunnel to raise the ceiling and allow more airspace for shots to pe*****te towards the green. As time passes, the alders on the right and the small evergreen on the left (before the island of trees) will continue to grow creating an initial gap. This will also make the hyzer play where you throw a drive to the left of the island of trees and then approach the green from the left side more difficult to visualize and execute. Still doable, but not as clear or wide open.

Give it a go this weekend and let us know what you think! This all fits into our vision of fine tuning the Gold Course to fairly challenge even the best in the game. And, the players just keep getting better!

P.S. There's also a new bench 👍 And, the tee pads for holes 14 and 15 on the Gold Course have been reworked so they're nice and level again following 6 years of play! 🙌

Is it May or January? The cottonwood makes it look like it's snowing on Hole 5 on the Gold Course! ❄️

If you're visiting the area, rest assured that all 4 courses are open for play all week! The Red, Gold, and Pitch & Putt Courses are being mowed every week and we're doing all we can to keep up with the abundant growth on the wooded Blue Course, while also making great progress on the yet to be unveiled wooded White Course. So exciting!

There was magic at Thursday Dubs yesterday! 🌟 It was a close battle on the Red Course but Seth White and James Radek were able to secure the win by 2 strokes. Plus, James hit the Ace on hole 13 to win the $318 Thursday Dubs Ace Pot! 🙌

For those that know the course, picture this... I believe James said he threw a Tempo off the tee and out of the hand he didn't like it. It was pulled a little right, tracking right of the big boulder to the right of the green. As it approached the back line of trees, it starts applying the brakes and begins it's leftward hyzer descent. The disc tracks towards the green but i's a little deep. As the disc continues to drop it actually starts trailing backwards towards the basket and finds the backside chains.

You never know when the magic might happen! Thursday Dubs continues every week into July. Sign up in the Pro Shop by 4:15pm. $15 for greens fees and weekly scrip payouts, and attendance is growing!

THANK YOU ALL so much for your kind donations, not only via the links above and below, but also inside the pro shop! We are inching closer to our goals, and steadily getting the grounds dialed for the much anticipated white course. There are four more holes that await the initial mini excavator pass. Then its teepads, teesigns and baskets. For those who live in the area, you are aware, this IS the grow season, so we would hate to see all the clearing that's already been done, become overgrown. Would really LOVE to unveil this jewel, this summer. Then our feet can help create better compaction for traction as well as keep the invasive vegetation at bay. However ...we need your help. PLEASE help spread the word and let's get this gem in play.
THANK YOU!!
Keith and KPDGR team :)

Hole 3 on the Red Course is one to be"hole"d. 😉 At 618 ft, with an elevated tee area, the first obstacle is a creek that crosses the fairway at about 200 ft. The basket is guarded by large trees just left of center in the picture, with a left-side route to the green, or a series of gaps on the right side. While a par 4, it's no gimme for most given the technical nature of approaching the green.

There's also an alternate tee, a Green Tee, located 252 ft from the basket on the other side of the bridge that crosses the creek (above the tee sign in the shade in the picture). Playing from the Green Tee removes the creek from the equation, but it also now plays as a par 3.

It's hard to pick favorites out here, but this one is up there!

Presenting your winners from PAR WARS: EPISODE IV! Congrats to all! 👏 Payouts are included (9th pic) and Pros have already been sent payouts via PayPal and Am scrip is being loaded onto gift cards.

Hot round goes to Quinn Lawler in MPO with a -15, currently 1025 rated. 🔥 See full results at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/103338

This layout on the Red Course uses 6 of the 9 shorter Green tees, including holes 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 16. Some of these make the Birdie easier, some make it harder. Its a fun mix while still allowing players to play some of the Red tee favorites like on holes 3, 12, and 18.

Alfonzo won the Ace Hunter Challenge on the Pitch & Putt with 3 aces in a single round. Nice work! 🙌 Your gift card will be waiting for you in the pro shop and never expires.

Raffle winners will be texted tomorrow, but for now if you see your initials on one of the tickets pictured, you won!

CTP winners are included on the Payouts sheet. No aces were hit so the funds roll over to the Kayak Point Open in July.

This is always a fun tournament that brings the crowds across a variety of divisions. Whether you're a Star Wars fan, or it's just another tournament for you, the vibes were great and we all enjoyed hosting you. Thanks for a stellar day!
