The road to the 2026 season starts now. Every game on this schedule is another opportunity to compete, grow, and represent Powell County with pride.

This season, our expectations are higher than ever. We are committed to raising the standard, pursuing excellence in everything we do, and building a program that refuses to settle. Success won’t be given—it will be earned through discipline, hard work, accountability, and relentless effort every single day.

We can’t wait to see Pirate Nation fill the stands and support these young men as they chase greatness together.

Football season is almost here!!! Practice Friday, July 10th from 6 pm-8:30 pm! This starts mandatory practice. If you have any interest or desire to play football this season join us at the Powell County Sports Complex (football field) for our first practice of the 26-27 season! Bring cleats and tennis shoes (no crocs, dudes, slides, or sandals) and be prepared for indoor or outdoor training! Dress comfortably according to weather (athletic shorts, t shirt, cut offs). Let’s make this season special!

Everyone should bring an up to date physical with them to practice as soon as possible. Physicals must have a date reading 26-27 for this football season so if you haven’t gotten a new one since last year, you will need another. Stanton Family Clinic will usually do walk-in Physicals.

We were mistaken about the dates for dead period. Weights will end on Wednesday, June 24th and Dead Period begins Thursday, June 25th and will run until Thursday, July 9th. We will then practice Friday, July 10th for the start of the official season and practice will be mandatory! Reminder that weights are M-W during the month of June until June 25th and the Weight room is open and available from 4:30 to 7PM.

🚨 ATTENTION PLAYERS AND FAMILIES 🚨

The summer program for June will be weights Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The weight room will be open 4:30pm-7pm on those days. Each player should try to get in at least 9 work outs during that time. Dead period starts June 24th and ends July 8th. Dead period means dead so there are to be absolutely no work outs or school sports related activities during that time. Season starts officially on Thursday, July 9th and that will be our first mandatory practice.
