A rainy afternoon at state track but the Blue Jays pushed through!

Jessa Longmuir and Keilana Uran both ran consistent races in their 100 hurdles. Jessa finished 16th and Keila finished 17th!

Austin Kanenwisher ran sub 16 in the 110 hurdles finishing 13th in the state!

Our boys 4x100 ran through puddles on the track - not a PR, but they finished 28th. The relay consisted of Kolton Longmuir, Logan Longmuir, Oscar Garcia and Austin Kanenwisher.

Not long after finishing his 400, Zeke Wienbar sprinted in the 200 meter dash, finishing 19th in state.

And the final event of the day - (the rainiest and coldest part, might o add!) our girls 4x800. They finished 22nd in the state. That relay consisted of Jessy Roise, Teigan Moe, Evy Davis, Annie Roise.

Tomorrows weather looks a lot more promising! Stay tuned for some pole vault, 400 finals, and the boys 4x400 results tomorrow!

Starting Day 2 at state track. So far we are dry…

Up first was our pole vaulters: Hugh Jackson and Landon Goettle! So much improvement from last season to this season! They didn’t clear the height this year but next year, look out!!

Next was Oscar Garcia in the 300 Hurdles. Placing 12th and a PR by .2 seconds! Great run!!

Help us send off our state qualifiers as they head to the State Track & Field Meet!

Our send-off route will begin at the high school, travel to the elementary school, continue down Main Street, and head out toward Highway 2.

Come line the streets, bring your signs, wear your blue, and help us cheer on our athletes as they represent Stanley on the state stage! 💙🩶

Good luck to all of our athletes — we are proud of you and can’t wait to cheer you on!
